Believe it or not, tenessee Jed is the song that got me really hooked.

I had Truckin', Tennesee Jed, and Ripple on a mixtape. truckin' was always a good tune, ripple was alright, but one day i was really baked drving around up here in MASS listening to tennessee Jed, During the solo when the whole band crescendoes just blew my mind. I thought "I need to find more songs like that!"

In fact, when i first started coming to the archives I would skim through shows by clicking the "TJ" and listening to the opening notes. I was amazed at how each time the tone would be a little different yet the song was awsome everytime.

That is a perfect example of how varied the folks around these parts can be. While TJ is a tune almost always a victim of the skip button for Dire and me, some folks thouroughly enjoy it. And that is a good thing. No judgement from here because you like it...just please don't blast it in my immediate vicinity.

I relate. That and Ramblin' Rose can definitely draw in newbies.
